HAWAII 501 ( c ) CONFERENCE
Inroduction
Everyday across our nation veterans and family members are obtaining better services as they improve thier lives. These dedicated individuals are the unsung heros of recovery and reintergration.
Housed within these stakeholders we find the self - funded who utilize thier own resources so that they can help others while helping themselves.
Bound by and committed to the battle cry "Each One, Reach One, Teach One", veterans and family members help each other improve thier lives.
Inspired by those who have come before us we press in to contribute to the future success of thier efforts.
Now it is from this position of support that we have created our Hawaii 501 ( c ) conference.
501 ( c ) Regulation History
Congress created the provision that provides exemption to Title Holding Companies so that title to property may be held for a tax exempt organization.
These companies are recognized as exempt under sections 501 c 2 or 25, and are single or multiple parent organizations.
The organizations that fit these two catagories of the 501 code have been organized for..,
"the exclusive purpose of holding title to property, collecting income therefrom, and turning over the entire amount of that income less the expenses to an organization that is exempt under section 501 c 3".
"IRS" lists almost '30' 501 C's
When we researched the IRS 501 code we found almost thirty different classifications of the 501 c.
Now when you look at the reasons that our United States Congress created these sub sections we can see that business in America can be designed to create jobs and give back to our people and thier communities.
This conference has been created so that veterans, thier family members along with the people who want to make a difference can learn how to take the work that they are doing to the next level of free enterprise and service.

Hawaii Vet 2 Vet in association with
have created this conference to guide you thru the forms and publications that the IRS has produced for the non-profit sector.
Your participation in our event means that you are joining like minded people who want to help you manifest your dream.
Ideal participants have a desire for a business that will serve as a vehicle to help veterans and thier family members reintergrate into the community.
The one thing that most folks are able to agree with is this, "that the IRS has a lot of paperwork and publications assoiciated with my taxes".
It should not therefore be a shock to any of us that we find ourselves in need of assistance in order to navigate the system that we call our tax code.
Add to this the never ending need for new jobs which can only be created by new businesses and then you may be able to relate to the importance of our conferences and workshops.
