The Vet 2 Vet Program
In April 2009 Andrew Dahlburg gave Michael K. Peacock the phone number for a national tele-conference that introduced him to the VA Vet 2 Vet program.
While this program was originally designed for veterans with mental illness, Mike learned he could customize Vet 2 Vet so it addresses the challenges veterans are facing in Hawaii.

Veterans Treatment Court was initiated by First Circuit Judge Ed Kubo in 2013. The Honorable Judge Ed Kubo along with., The Judiciary, State Bar, and the University of Hawaii Law School all recognize that Americans enjoy their freedom because of those who have served our Country in the military.
Many of these Veterans also need legal assistance and The Veterans Treatment Court takes a holistic approach to help provide the resources and treatment these veterans need. This allows them to get healthy, get employed, and return to being law-abiding citizens so they can enjoy the freedoms they fought to protect.
